Your writing, your rules.

• Account information — the email address you sign up with, and (if you use Google) the basic profile Google shares: name and avatar.
• Profile details — the display name, bio, and avatar you choose to add.
• Content you publish — posts, drafts, cover images, and inline images you upload.
• Engagement — the posts you like, so we can show community-highlighted stories.
• Technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) kept briefly for abuse prevention and debugging.

When you mark a post as anonymous, your name and avatar are hidden from every reader on the public site. Your author identity is still linked to the post in our database so you can edit or delete it, and so we can act on abuse reports. We do not sell, share, or publish that mapping, and we resist informal requests to unmask writers.

Anonymity protects your byline, not the contents of what you write. Do not include information that identifies you if you need to stay unidentified.

• To operate the site: authentication, publishing, reading.
• To surface community-highlighted stories based on engagement.
• To keep the platform safe: rate limits, spam and abuse review.
• To contact you about your account (never marketing spam).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not run behavioral advertising.

• Published posts are public.
• Drafts are visible only to you.
• Your email is never shown publicly.
• Likes are used in aggregate; we do not display who liked a post.

CruxCraft runs on managed cloud infrastructure for hosting, database, authentication, and file storage. Those providers process data on our behalf under their standard data-processing terms. If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy also applies to that flow.

We use the minimum cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• Edit or delete any post you've written, at any time.
• Update your profile and display name from your account.
• Request full account deletion — this removes your profile and unpublishes your posts.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

CruxCraft is not intended for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and notify signed-in writers before the change takes effect.
